On this site i mostly see you lot talking of ct9,tdo4,tdo5 etc etc.

I have'nt got a clue what sizes these really are as im used to t25,t28,t3 etc

Could someone list what the turbo's compare to,what boost they can run & what size are the housings?

thanks

They're not comparable due to so many varients of all of those turbos with the exception of a ct9.

There must be some sort of comparison? even if it is'nt spot on?

ie is a td04 more t25 or t3?

what is a ct9 compared to then?

is the ct9 the standard turbo?

The common TD04L used here mate is the one from the WRX scoobys. If I say to you it has a exhuast A/R of approx .41 and like A/R .42 compressor, Im sure you'll know what garrett to compare it with ;)

no because there like 20 vairents of td04 and they're all very different there also like 20 different varients t25. Your better off looking at ar's both hot and cold side to get a rought idea.

yeah,i know there's loads of varients,a common t25 will have a .48 comp & a .49 ex. but then the wheel size matters too.

i just want to know roughly what peeps are using, being new to starlet's i did'nt know if they were talking of t25's or t34 sized turbo's.

You could match them up but you'd really have to know your turbo's. I don't think it's important to know what they compare to even if you get the power outputs matched they respond very differently. The garretts tend to be har kicking and don't give much until after 1.2bar whereas the ihi turbos give a much broader powerband.

roughly roughly speaking. t25 .45 similar to the td04L close in response and power out put, td04H something like a t25/t28 hybrid and if you go on ebay you would see t25/28 hybrids being sold as td04h. ct9 something like a t2 that comes on the e15et I think. allot of td05s veiw them as t3 and t3/4 hybrids, the same sort of power ranges. Speaking widley so no attacks neccessary just trying to answer the chaps question:) view greedy units like turbonetics units. hope it helps.
