Tyre Sizes

Just going to order some new alloys but dunno what tyre size to have either 195/50R15 or 195/45R15? will the 50 profile scrub the arches? my car is lowerd bout 40mm allround

195/50/15 should be fine, unless you've got it closer to the ground than a snakes knob.

mine rubbed with 50's had to get 45's so just beware

50's fill the arches nicely (on mine anyway, which has been lowered with springs). I guess if you drop it stupid amounts on coilies 50s might scrub...would have to be pretty low though!

mine is very low and only scrubs on very major bumps but this will be down to the offset of the alloys on the rear!

my car is very low at the front and have had no problems with 50's at all.

Tried to go from 45s with eagle f1s to 50s on paradas on the front and couldn't get them fitted because they were catching my coilovers! Stuck to 45s on the front in the end. Just something to watch out for
