patience is a virtue, getting pissy about it wont help matters folks.

Geo and I have been aware of this from early on, and I text Geo about it as soon as I encountered the problem. He has been working to resolve it since then, and the fact that we are still down is not something we can help. it's not like nothings been done about it, u think we'd just sit back and not try to get it fixed?!?!

To the TGTT admin, thank-you for your understanding and patience with this matter, and Jay thanks for putting up the update from myself whilst i was offline.

Phil.

information may be king, but have a little faith in your admin.

we would never just sit back and let it go unattended. if there is something wrong u can be sure of 2 things at all times:

1. Geo and I will learn about it fairly sharpish, even if i'm not on, steve or streetracer or John or Rob will text me.
2. As soon as one of us knows about it, we will do what we can to resolve it. I'm not technically minded with web stuff, but I always contact Geo immediately so it will be addressed ASAP.

A little faith. folk may be pissed about it, but its not like its a planned event. Geo will fix it ASAP. I spoke with him yesterday before I spoke with Jay, he's working on it. If there's anything he can do to speed it up im sure he's doing it.

After the DNS record has been updated the TTL (time to live) could be 24hrs before all namesevers around the world update the domain change, the actual time depends on the TTL settings of the originating nameserver.

Unfortunately it's a case of sit and wait for your ISP's DNS server to update once the domain change has been made.

Windows users can try typing 'ipconfig /flushdns' from a command prompt to clear their computers local DNS cache, but if your ISP's DNS server hasn't updated the record change then it'll not make any difference.

we appreciate that folk "could do with getting to PMs" but there is literally nothing more we can do about it.

As stated several times, Geo is working on it. there is nothing more i or john or anyone can do. we all have PMs to deal with, please try to be understanding, this wasn't exactly planned.

shit happens. we're not ignoring it. have a little faith and patience.
