Vacuum Hose Size in Bay (Want to replace all the hose, whats the diametre)

I want to replace all the black hose in the engine bay with new silicone hose, does anyone know the ideal diametre? I was thinking 3mm - Is all the hose the same or does it change? Is standard silicone hose good for the application, any oils/water etc

Any idea how much I'll need, I was thinking 3 or 4 metres maybe...

theres kits on ebay buddy, these come in 4,6 and 8mm i think and you get 3 meters of each size!

yep, i got one of those , some hoses arnt there like 2.5mm for the really small vacuums, and maybe the rocker cover breathers, I think ones 10mm, the kit is a good buy as you can sell the remains to fellow car nuts !

i made do with the 4mm and some cable ties had to buy a 12mm for rocker breather! amen to the bro!
