Hey guys, I've got a fully built 5efe engine. It has done 1400km (Sorry I'm from Australia ) and it was blowing greyish (slightly blue as well) smoke after long idling. Example, at the lights, if I idle and take off there will be a cloud of smoke. Alot of smoke. This will clear up as I keep driving. My mechanic believes it to be either valve stem seals, PCV valve or turbo. I've checked my intercooler piping and there is not one drop of oil so turbo is crossed off. I blocked off the PCV valve with a hose and bolt and blocked off the throttle part with a hose and bolt and the smoking decreased by at least 80%. The colour of the smoke seemed to change to closer to black. Can it be that the PCV valve has been causing this issue the whole time? BTW, my car drank almost all of the engine oil in about 1.5 weeks. Any input is welcomed.
Thanks heaps.
