piping looks good so much shorter route than mine and well i think most peoples defo got me thinking.........
as for the problem your having does the car sound right because i had a similar issue and it was my turbo had come loose slightly from the manifold long shot but might be worth a look just start her up and feel for the leak or listen.

Hmm will re do all the joins in the pipings tomorow, had a play with the distributor cap to change the ignition a little but it made it worse so just put it back to standard.

Looks like it's either a cr*p turbo or a boost leak!

rite lets think..
you put your foot down, that opens the throttle which sucks the air from the intercooler, gets the pressure from the turbo and air from the air filter..

so whats stopping the turbo from spooling...

the turbo relise on te actuator for base pressure setting? so if the actuator has a problem tht could stop the wastegate door being open/cloosing propperly which would cause the problem..

chek all the vacume pipes behind the inlet and to/from any boost gauges etc..
block up the dv to see if tht helps..
gud luk mate

Got a couple pics of the actuator, think it's a hks one... it does have faded lettering on...

Would it be better to run it on a standrd actuator as the boost can creep up to 0.9 bar in high high revs!

hold on this is a actuator off a glanza isnt it?? and if ime not mistaken this is a gt lol! have you dropped a glanza engine in here mate when you did the swap? some-one please correct me if ime wrong ie the very early gt's have different actuators?? or there is a glanza engine in there ??

thats and aftermarket actuator and glanza/gts actuators are the same.

Right latest update, tried my friends forge dump valve and the problem was still there so it's not that...

The setup i have is the intercooler, re-located air filter, HKS FCD which is set to 6 (whatever that means) hks actuator and the boost is far to high for standard fuelling, so i am trying to sort out a standard actuator so i can bring it back down to standard boost (as the HKS minimum boost is still too high) then i will disconnect the FCD to re-instate factory fuelcut.

Can i just unplug the FCD from the ECU?

Also does anyone know what the minimum boost for a hks actuator should be? As it is set to min but still goes to just under a bar!

Im still hitting .9 bar on a hks actuator at it lowest setting my turbo doesnt boost fully till about 5000rpm Its because the waste gate is opened all the time but i dont mind because my clutch is fried

Same here mate the actuator is on the min boost, still hits just under a bar and there's no proper power till about 4500rpm...

A rather kind gentleman off the forum has offered me a standard actuator for free if i pay the postage so i'm going to try that.

Also for those that suggested it was an ignition problem i adjusted the ignition via the distributor cap and it made it even more laggy so put it back to standard.
