Well anyone that can hook me up with some parts sources I would be greatful... just send me an email or pm. I just spend 500 USD on camshaft and a $120 on a timing belt(which I am still waiting for) from Japan. After rebuilding my injection pump, I figure I must have gotten the timing wrong and when I tried starting it the camshaft snapped. Not that I have new cam shaft when putting the camcaps back on they almost instantly snapped. They feel like they are just aluminum, when I get enough money together to get them remade I may ask for them to made out of a stronger material if possible. Still all-in-alll fixing this engine is still cheaper than spending more than 2k to get one imported. How much do these engines cost over your way? I imagine sending one to the states would be pretty pricey. My japanese is a little rusty maybe I reading wrong. I set it to stated timing mark but the I tried starting it it moved. I set this those using the timing mark on the pully straight up to TDC and then move to the pully to where the dimple is. Then set the cam and injection pump to the timing marks. This would be at 90 deg... Also where there any non japanese manuals for this engine?
