Walbro Fuel Pump

Ordered a walbro fuel pump from Dave Burwash, but i have a couple of questions

how do i remove the silver cover which covers the fuel tank. is it just glued on or something?:homer:

is the pump easy to fit? does it just replace the stock pump without having to modify anything?

Was just gonna look for that myself! Yes mate the cover is just glued on.

does anything need to be modified, other than cutting those 2 wires. i swear i read somewhere before that something has to be removed from the walbro pumps becasue they are too big for the tank :homer:

No mate its a straight swap apart from the 2 wires. Its a 30 minutes job that even a mechanical pleb (me) can do!

Well, i had to use the old filter instead of the new one, the new one seems too big, i can't get it in the tank. Maybe thats just my pack,if its look the same, use it.

Well the filter on mine was ok. But I think i had to cut one of the hoses supplied to get the walbro pump to fit on the bracket or something!

changed mine bout a week ago and all i had to do was the 2 wires.
