Wanted, Intercooler kit EP82

Need some help, looking to buy a intercooler kit for around the £200 mark up to 250ish, any ideas? Standard ep82 pretty much. standard CT9 turbo etc. Not too sure about ebay intercoolers for the EP82, Tustworthy?

i got mine from ebay, have a look at my garage thread for details of my car.

Perfectly fine the ebay ones in my opinion as long as you stick to the heard of brands, jperformance, autobahn, hdi etc etc

Cheers! I did see this one, i think it probably will be bought within the next couple of hours. How easy are they to fit? iv got a mate whos a god with cars but i dont want to bugg him too much and wondered if i could do it with mediocre skills? much adjusting needed?

Yeah, looks it mate.

It's a pretty simple job but I've heard it can take a while too! You may need to remove A/C to fit this too.

Removing the A/C is not a problem, iv heard of people loosing the A/C completely... the only problem i have is that my car steams up like a madman so i doubt i could loose it, espeicially in this damn country.

why would the aircon help ure car when it steams up?

only need aircon in the summer when ure car gets hot

In my area the car gets so cold i have to litterally steam the windows to be able to see anything out of any window.

thats not the aircon man, thats just ure normal heater and air vents, air con is just what makes the air freeeeezing cold, u can remove the air con and the heater etc will still work

Oh yeah, sorry mate, im a bit of a noob at the moment iv only ever been on the side of fibreglassing stuff for cars. Plus its been a long and tiring crimbo... Oh and i purchased that FMIC from ebay, the seller tells me i dont have to loose A/C but we shall see.. cheers!

if your car steams up u might wana change your pollen filter man, its the filter than is used with the heaters inside the car, normally need changin every once in a while but most people dont bother 2 do it :)

you wont have tolose the a/c. and btw if you hae a steamed up windscreen the a/c acts as a de-humidifier, so clears it in seconds!

you will have to trim the front bumper tho, if its the same as my g/f's old one its piss to fit but the hose clips are usually crapola.

you just need a decat, decent bore exhaust, i.e 2.25" upto 2.5" an uprated fuel pump, adjustable FPR and an FCD and you will be pushing around about 170bhp at a bar of boost.
