need a scooby td05 asap the nut came off the end of the compressor wheel it only had 400miles on it im p***ed

just take it to a turbo repairer and get a new nut then get them to rebalance it

im guna on monday hopfully its got warranty but wont a spare for when in get aint lag going to strip it 2moz see how bad it is iv still got the nut

yer it probly has but you cant see in it going to take it off 2day see if i can see in there with a mirror

yerp its f**ked the nut was in the turbo it couldnt get out coz my air filter

mate what has the state of the manifold got to do with the comp wheel locking nut coming off, and it don't matter bout the filter as this would not off stopped it coming off

ye thats true i suppose, but still why are you not runing an air filter?

if there was no mesh on it then it may of had a chance of escaping, but then you would be silly to run without a filter for obvious reasons.

end of the day that nut should not have come off, george cant argue with that,and im sure he wont as hes a pretty sound bloke. he might replace it or rebuild it, if he does rebuild it then you should get a 360 bearing whilst your there seeming as its got a fair bit of boost running through it.
