Water?

Hi could anyone please help. Was driving to work today when my car cut out. The roads were covered in water is there a chance water might got into the engine. The air filter sits behind the radiator. If so what is result of water getting in engine?

If anyone got any ideas what could be?

If water enough water gets into your engine then it will damage it yeah.

Ive run filters in my bumpers for years on turbo and N/A cars and have never had any problems have driven into puddles etc etc... I doubt thats it to be honest with you... Does your car crank over? What happens when you turn the ignition?
