im newish to all dis crack. im billy from cork. i drive a bright blue starlet which is undergoing surgery at da moment. its gettin a quad lite conversion and a toms kit on it and a 1.6 twin cam engine as da old one died. ill get pics up when its finished. :rockon:

well i don know da number of da engine but i was told dat one 4m a carina would go in wit a bit of pursuasion ????????

doubt that would be worth the hassle, there like 90bhp,same as the 1.3 efi

The cynos 1.5 block would be a better option imo

Hey dude welcome to tgtt. I dont really know about putting a Carina engine I'd asume you'd have to do something with the mounts and the loom would be different to?

Its the same block as 1.3 4efe its just the bore on the cycliners is bigger so you should'nt have to change mounts.

The 5E-FE makes about 100hp and 90lb-ft of torque.
