Correct. There was some rumours it wasn't going to be competing next season in time attack but it will be and it is now pushing circa 900bhp. RCM are building a new age Impreza so I can only assume it shall be the Gobstopper's replacement.

There will be quite a few BIG powered cars running in Time attack next season so hopefully RCM won't have it all their own way like for the past couple of seasons.

As per Marty - Neil K's P1 is getting closer to the RC kinda power outputs. He's actually approx 750 at the mo, and is hoping to bring it over to mainland uk for some banter this year. Its set a 10.6 1/4 on bishopscourt on an H gate, which is some going given bishops is rougher than a badgers gooch scrubbed up with 80 grit.

here it is knocking out a 10.6 vs a GSXR1000, and winning!

worth noting its also still a 2L, as their more resiliant against an over rev than the ej25. RCM have seen 12.8k over revs and it all still hold together lol!

what im trying to say, albeit badly, is its still a base EJ20 engine - not following the popular trend of going up to 2.5.
To note, that day Bishops was greasy, he had a new 6 speed box in, and was missing gears all day. It was also down on power as the manifold had a blowout.
Since then, the blowout has been resolved with a new mani, and cosworth intake manifold has been added along with a 100bhp shot of Nos.
The only car known to run nines (but not ran in N.Ireland at a 9) built in N.I is John Curristons evo. This should be the first scoob to break into the nines on an N.I 1/4mile circuit.

It will also be qualifying for TOTB this year too - I wish him all the best representing N.I!
