awesome! well when i was 18 i phoned up Flux but they wouldn't touch me on my old gt, but 1400 quid is rly cheap, esspecially with the TD04.

im located in a pritty high risk area too

everything was straight on the quote kept in garden etc, i was owner of the car and named driver and i had one other driver on the policy which was my grandma with 40 years driving experience lol

best thing to do is just shop around iv spent weeks so far as my car is off the road but i think i shall be snapping up that with flux when i get the car sorted,

also try your local companies i was insured previously from a small insurance company local to me, exellent to deal with and beat every price i could throw at them

iv just got a quote online! very surprised. admiral funnely enough! i put in that i was 19 and had 1 years no claims, and i got quoted 1864.11 quid. over 10 months bonus accelator. but if i was to sell the mini now as it is, id have no claims and it would be 2021. bearing in mine this is Third party ONLY!

oh mum just surgested that i put her down as a SECONDRY driver. so im still the main driver which i think is completly fine. im not fronting the insurance company. and its dropped to 1400 quid. which i don't think is too bad :)

that's what i tend to do always put a family member on my insurance, they will use the car from time to time and it lowers my premium, im ofcourse the owner and the main driver.

yeah i read a couple of good and bad things about the admiral bonus accelerator,not sure if im too keen on it.

it's all about shoppin around really

well mum said she would use it everynow and then so im not lying to them. gona get the mini back on the road and get a job asap. and then save up for abit. hopefully have a GT this year all being well.
