I would say an S15 but the problem with nice modified ones is the old esva test. I've been looking at cars around that sort of price and (without buying something thats going to swallow my wallet on mods or something french lol) the M3 is at the top of my list.

I would have a R33 GTST all the way baby. couple of months and i will have one 
You have the speed which is easy to increase and only one turbo to go wrong and who wants to be controlled by 4 wheels when u can have two all at the backend much easier to handle rear wheel drive i think. But maybe others would not agree.

Alot of people have chosen older cars, that are very modified and others newer and not so modded.
Its an interesting one as come june i will be in this exact predicament...and have kind of wanted something newer.
