What did you do to your cars today

Ok so Today I Managed to beat the 4 rounded head bolts and remove the head and pistons.
Also got the ignition timing sorted on my star-olla.

Sent captain squeaky through loads of puddles on the way home!

List seems endless but with a little longer day light and the not so harsh coldness it seems do-able again.

What did you do to your motors?

Cleaned the engine bay....painted engine mounts...wished for more money to get the engine rebuilt!! lol

today i didnt do much as i was at work. just painted a power steering bracket.

tomorrow ill be stripping and cleaning my head ready to fit on my cleaned and rebuilt bottom end

i got my timing belt done but cant get my ignition timing centered on the distributor

I removed all the damp tissues I've been using to wipe off the condensation on the inside of the windows. Bloody thing steams up to the bollocks in this musty weather.

Put a engine in the glanza v project with Jon_young. Been a really productive day. Got loads done on it

I dont think so, may be the seals are getting a little worn letting the moisture in but it's a pain in the arse at times.

Washed it yesterday, half polished it then it pissed rain so that was a waste of polish..

Looked out the window at it all day, oil pump arrived though which was a good sign ( Thank u Mr Burwash! )

Waiting on Pistons and Rods now so will get engine built at last......
