ive heard that the g6 and ae111 are too weak to handle the power of a glanza or gt.. or was i bein told porky pies?

Yes, but they do fit

Also, many higher powered starlets (the white td05 powered one for example) use them.

the C160, C60 and C64 are all 6 speeds and can and have taken way more power then a starlet can handle......where are you guys coming up with them not being able to handle power? Over here they have them in everything from MKI MR2's to 400whp celica GTS's....not to mention the c64 comes in the Lotus Exige S

any C series tranny SHOULD work with slight modification. the stock C52 in the starlet is a very good stock example, though its geared pretty high.

i've broken 2 3rd gears on glanza gearboxes, one set was brand new from toyota and cryo-treated. hussey in malta has broken like, 9 gearboxes. that's strong?

not strong.. id say chocolate.. :shoot: hussey so far seems to love shaving 3rd gears... no matter what u do to them over a certain power the 3rd just blows

yes its been like 9 gboxes so far.. they last a qtm wkend (maybe 2) then booom
