What ISP To Go for?

I'm currently searching for a new provider at the moment as Pipex are a bag of bollocks and I'm sick of them port blocking DC++.

The speed with them is not all that great either.

So, question to you guys here which one do you recomend as my next provider?

They must allow a very healthy download usage or even an unlimited one as I do tend to move a fair bit of bandwidth. Price range for a package would be between £25-£40.

with BT, through the BT Home Hub, get constant 8mb all the time. :) Also get BT Vision tv box etc - £30 a month

Virgin Media FTW!

Was on 20meg, downgraded to 2meg but still getting 20meg speeds - absolutely loving it!

And theyve just launched 50meg on fibre optic! Ooo!

Utility Warehouse - wonder if anyone on here's ever heard of them? ;-) check them out, they spend £0 (in comparison!) on advertising but provide a damn good service at a bloody good price... i'm with them at the moment, no complaints :-D

Been with BT since they rolled out the 512kbps plan. Now on the 8mb plan and I've never had a problem. Even the wireless BT Home hub I can't fault, never had to touch that either other than setting up my port forwards. Seeing as BT own the tech in the exchanges, I would expect them to be the best tbh!

im with 02 and find them very good :)

I'm with o2 as well. Great helpful service and it's always spot on for me. I've got the 16mb package for £15 a month, always fast enough and I use it for online gaming. Never goes down where I live and it has unlimited download on it too. Plus if you already have an o2 phone they will knock 5 quid off the package.
