I guess even with all those major problems the size of the turbo would always have a big punch on topend

the lag was just something I couldn't see as being normal, 6k rpm for full boost is just silly

just glad it's sorted and finally working good

glad you got things sorted
what is spool up and full boost rpm like now?

edit: now see you were looking for more info on the twinscroll. From my experience to get this turbo to work properly you need to raise compression and keep timing on 4E.

nah not yet gonna shave the head and block soon to fix a pesky oil leak i'm getting from the hg

i'll have the power info and vids eventually lol

guys i also use a twin scroll and they work perfect . mine is from an evo 9 and it has a lot of torque . it boost fast in every grear !!! i recommend twin scroll

A172, buddy what Wiseco pistons did you use? The -10cc ones?
I have seen Precision Vband (the smallest one) on an Uno turbo. Made boost earlier and made way more power than the turbo of the same size that was on it.

No, standard bore is 74mm
But it is advised to use 74.5mm so that the block can be matched to spec with each piston :)

Don't want to for rebore again as the shops who do rebores overhere are crap. The motor doesn't last long. That's why I'm looking for some pistons that don't require rebore of the block, taking into account piston expansion as well.
