i used to run similar whp to you mate, i ran horrible 60 ft times at 1/4 with no diff, i went for a trd diff, using redline 75w90 oil and its the best mod ive ever done!!!

If its going to be used daily I would say quaiffe, but for using at the track/drags use a TRD or cusco. I know the cusco does clunk but is awesome on track.

Do you run a stock LSD at the moment or dont have one at all? We sell KAAZ Differentials 1.5way with quite a few members running them on here with no complaints, really good high quality differentials and KAAZ give you the security of knowing they have been in the business for a very long time!

The feedback ive had back has been excellent.

One particular customer done a mass amount of research before buying a Diff and found that the KAAZ ticked all the boxes he required it for. Heres some more information from KAAZ there self. Its very decently priced and you also get 2litres free of KAAZ's own differential oil.

For a front wheel drive car the best option is a KAAZ 1.5 Way LSD.

Just like the KAAZ 2 Way LSD upon acceleration the pin moves the plates out and locks the diff and in turn limits the wheel spin or slip. But upon deceleration the pin moves to a new position but only applies ½ the force as if it applied the full force the car would be unstable under braking and deceleration.

When acceleration around a corner you will "feel" the diff working for you and through the steering wheel you will feel the diff pulling you around the corner. This can be a strange feeling, but you will find that you also now have much higher exiting speeds.

As well as 1.5 and 2 way KAAZ LSD, KAAZ also offer the KAAZ Solid Type. The KAAZ Solid Type uses RS plates and offer a much better reaction time when a LSD "Locks" up. Take some time to read about the KAAZ Solid Type LSD.

I was doing a lot of research into them not long ago and the Quaife looked like the best one. £702 from Sumo Power delivered was the cheapest I found

what diff was it mate a helical one or mechanical?

helical, you can buy get these for around 500/600 brand new, this with slicks should get you down to around 1.6./.1.4 60 ft times, depending on
your set up, i use my car on the road and track, it is a bit clicky but i dont mind.
