what possible damage from coming off jacks with no wheels?

had my car up on jacks today, with the axle stands under the rear trailing arm.

my little bro was out there and asked if he could start it and i didnt give it a second thought, although forgot i had put the box into reverse as i didnt have any bricks to put under the front wheels.

my bro got out the way and wasnt hurt, but the car managed to move about 10 feet backwards before i got to it and turned the key off, managed to jack it back up and get the wheels on, i couldnt really see much damage, back box has a hole around a weld from being dragged, and there are a few dent around the back plate of the disc, anything else i should be worried about?

check the disks for cracks, i would take them off for inspection, wouldnt want them to split in half or anything, there obviasly pretty damn strong but best to check!

get it on some ramps and check all brake lines etc, along with rear disks and fuel tank etc. the other damage will be mainly cosmetic.

If it dropped onto the brake disks I would have them changed before driving it. You dont know what damage has been done to them. Hairline crack that could cause serous trouble if they broke apart while traveling at speed.

tbh i dont think much was dont, rear bumper is fucked, but i have been looking for a new one for a while anyway, but i fucked the bumper trying to jack it up again, lol.

tbh i dont think much has been done, the backing plate's are bent from all the stones (stone drive way, although i didnt need to bend them out the way of discs, i i dont think any weight went on the discs them selves, couple of dents in the tank but not sure if they where there already,

what i meant is it's unusual for a petrol car to fire up when in gear, usually just lurches on the starter.

Id replace the complete rear axle..........................................just incase.

Mate done it on his corsa, fucked the backbox and the bumper, if its on chukys aswell,i wouldnt worry too much.
