What radiator to use???

Hey guys!

Was just wondering what radiator to use? my engine bay is looking a bit cramped and wanting to empty it out a bit.... I have heard that the Honda Civic ones fit really well but do these need any modifications? Or do these just bolt straight in? Also what about the coolant pipes?

Any answers and explained answers would be a great help!! Thanks guys :)

civic radiators fit well, have a hunt on ebay.

search ep82 radiator and take a look at the expensive half size ones that appear, THEN go and hunt out a lovely civic radiator that looks the same.

one thing to note is that a decent brand would be preferable. OEM of mishimoto or suchlike.

you can then either buy little brackets over on UKSO to mount the radiator or make some little brackets up yourself. (if cable tied on on before without issue but cant recommend as its a total bodge)

no you will get on fine. search for either ep91 or 82 and work from there.

personally if you use the car all year round i would stick with a standard rad. it protects the front of the engine from a lot of shit from the road. just my opinion.

Yeah that's true, I have. Front mount intercooler though so that kind of protects the engine from getting dirty
