what size tires

Right I have a set of 14x6 ce28's on the 71 at the moment and to be honest it handles shit since I put them on I'm using 185 55 federal 595's there seems to be a massive amount of tire roll compared to when I had the 15's on it. Are these tires just too wide for the wheels ?? What size tires are ye using on 6j wheels
