What to do with engine oil?

Lads quick question, how do you dump the engine oil you take out?

i reuse it in my mini... my mini gets rid of it on the road drop by drop... by the time its dry i will change the oil in the glanza and use the old oil in the mini again..


recycle dude!! save the world! YOU can make a difference!

go to your local refuse tip site and they have a section for used oil

On a serious note though, dont dump it. I may sound like a hippie but there are plenty of dumps that will take it from ya. Easiest way to find one would be to ring the council.

There's a recycling centre in Bandon that takes used oils.

That's where i take mine.

i gaved it to my neighbor, he used it as a substitute to a ky jelly. lol

some workshops will also take it for you and have it recycled.

don't tip it down a drain or in a hole. help presurve your living enviroment.

I hate to admit it but, I find some of the above suggestions quite funny... but,
on a serious note, here in the states (Colonies?) many auto parts stores will
accept it... free of charge!

A lot of local dumps will take it, they just have a big container to put it in. They take it away to filter all the bits out and then sell it to be burned in oil burning heaters and things like that.
