what tyre choice for 195 45 16

as above, i am looking for some advice as i am struggling to find good quality tyres for the size i am after.

when its finally rebuilt (started as an engine swap and now turned into a good tidy up and sort all the broken stuff) it will be used as an everyday car and for spirited driving when some slow k**b is in front. looking for a tyres that is as good in the wet as the dry, because as most folk know in Scotland, 99.9% of the time its chucking it down.

Have you ever tried Falken's?Not so good for a daily use as you say but excellent on wet tarmac!

Uniroyal rainsport 2. Very good all round tyre. Impressive grip in the dry and just as good in the wet, apparantly good wear rates aswell.

I run 195 55 15 with the Falken ZE912. No complains on the daily drive, and if you enjoy the challenge of spirited driving in the wet
