wheel offset questions

rite well im thinkin a changing the wheels on my car and im looking for something different than the usual wheels out there, the wheels would be 15x7m, but ive some questions about offsets.

whats the most common offset for staret wheels?
whats the minimum and maximum offset wheels you can get away with, with regards to the dish on the wheels?

Put your current sizes in this and then the new ones or sizes your thinking of and it'll tell you how much further out they'll stick or how much they'll move closer to the suspension

et37/38 is the most common offset

missed last part you can really get away with 36-45 anything below 36 will tend to cause issues

my new wheels are et20 offset 16x8, they fit fine.
