When removing Aircon can i still use the standard belt?

I'm goin to remove the aircon in my glanza,im currenty in work jst now.
so i can do the mecanical things i.e. remove fan,rad and piping but cant replace the belt untill i get a new.
so was wondering if i could run the car with the aircon motor and standard belt in place?
