Indeed, that is the Independence Palace in Hồ Chí Minh city. The piccie above I thought someone would get... It's where 'the boys' from Top Gear got given their cash to go off and buy mopeds. Tis ere: Google Maps - Hồ Chí Minh.

So, asides from a trip down to the Mekong Delta, and crawling around in a Việt cộng tunnel, that was Vietnam...

Sorry for the late reply (not that anyone's world revolves around mine, or that you're all that interested in where I am...), been a bit pre-occupied of late...

No, not gone into China this time, I've gone South to Australia. Here's where I'm sat in the first photo: Google Maps - Ubirr.

I'm sat in virtually the same place as where Paul Hogan stood in Crocodile Dundee, pointed to a group of trees, and said "that's where the croc got me". Small world eh?
