engine wont start yea it the one off ebay knew it was too good to be true but i took a gamble on it workin and there bein another fault with the car it was off but jus my luck it was the ecu

cheers dac69er do they do ecu's i hav found a few places online that fix ecu's but it a case of who can actually fix a mines one other then mines them selves

Worth a try though mate might be somethin simple with a bit of luck might be better trying the company dac69er recommended first
yea story sounded abit suss to me especially as he knew what a mines ecu was and was willing to let it go cheap. But i can see why you took the gamble when these thing retail for 500 plus pound if you can find one. Still you might get it repaired and still be quids in i spose good luck. You will definetly be a happy man if you do these things are great.

yep jus hope i get it fixed it all looks ok inside part from a few solder where it looks like sum1 repaired it before when we put it in the car the rev needle moved on turn over so sum part of the ecu is workin right am i supposed to put it in and leave or turn it over straight away?

yea i was thinkin that pig666eon i sent them an email eralier askin would they be able to fix it dunno if they will get bk to me i only paid £97 soo figures it dont work lol how much u reckon mines would want to fix it

im not sure but i remember reading one of the mods getting it done it could have been jay if i remember im not sure
get in contact with a local source for them they will give you a good idea on how to go about it
a tone is grand lad i would have done the same sure once you have the main parts of it then im sure it will be able to get fixed easy but price im sure will be a bit expensive and might be wort your while getting one secondhand again for the money you will spend ect
i was onto sard before about getting one of their ecus took them a while to respond but they did like i would hold off for mines anyway lad cause the rest mentioned might not do a good job on it

The map would be ok I'd guess. It is not possible for the map to disappear unless physical damage was done.
Maybe the ECU was left open to UV sunlight or it got water in it. Or somebody was trying to clone it and messed up!

yes i own a multimeter and know how to use it i did mechanics at college i jus hate electrics all they showed us was picoscoping i could write a book on that crap
