Where is the oil pressure sender or switch

hi oil light came on last night i know its not pump as my engine would of siezed on the way home i was hoping somone could provide me with this infomation as i can start looking into finding the problem and also can a bu a spare from any autofactors ??

Well if the oil light came on, check your oil level! Start with basics first! Btw, its located on the front of the engine, right hand side, bottom of block.

Toyota will be your best bet.

Here is apic, I dont have ms paint on this pc so couldnt mark it for you, but its on the right hand side, beside the gearbox. It is circular and has a white piece of plastic coming out from the block, with a metal clip on top.

sorted cheers for the help th oil sender cable had came off and earthed on the downpipe rep added nice one i can now go to work stress free
