Where to start?

After owning my Starlet for about 9 months I seem to have gotten nowhere!
I bought the car last year as a project with the intensions of restoring it to its former glory. But after 2 months I got side tracked and locked it up in the garage and no longer worked on it.

NOW...I want to get back on top of it and start work on it again , but I dont no where to start? Should I continue with bodywork or work on getting the engine and drive gear in? I totally gutted the engine bay as ya can see below

what do you guys recon? get rid and get a working one or continue with the restore?

Looks like you have made a good start to the restoration since owning it mate, if you have the motivation, i say carry on with it mate!
Finish the bodywork, get her back up to her former glory then start on the mechanical side Good luck!

I agree.
Assuming its a running engine you have there i would say finish the body work and put the engine back in so you can drive it.
Rekon once you are driving it you will wanna do more.
