which timing mark???

which of these 2 timing marks need to line up?? im assuming its the little arrow type one but cant see the point in the other mark if it doesnt line up as well???

E on the pulley and toyota roughly line up so you know your in about the right place:

then here is the little arrow type thingy and the notch on the pulley:

and finally the cut type mark on the pulley and the casing which i assume should line up at the same time as the arrow and notch?

those pics were taken with everything in the same place. i just would have throught the line mark would like up when the arrow mark is lined up too but they seem a bit out!?

just something ive never really noticed before
