im not sure if i should go for one or not, being as the cams are linked together, just wondering if anyone has seen a benafit to fitting an adjustable pulley or even if anyone has converted the cams to independent running (probly not worth the hassle but a maybe)

I think its a waste of money. I got these on my my car and havent noticed a difference yet. rather go for lightened pulleys...

The problem is that adjusting just the ONE pulley, adjusts both cams since it's not a direct twin cam arrangement. So the adjustment made is wrong in both directions. Pretty pointless if you ask me, unless you mesh the exhaust cam at a different position to the inlet cam, this would likely require the head off the block to gain a true TDC reading using a Dial indicator and then to work out the opening and closing degrees of the cams to adjust it how you want.

Best person to ask would probably be Spuddy as he is using billet cams and I'm sure hes using an adjustable pulley, best to ask for the method.

Would love to see a true independent twin cam design, but would likely cost too much for the aggro it causes compared to the gains.
