mum mother and father are getting a glanza in a few weeks, they have alreday seen it and want to buy it, come to get a quote for insurance, and the best quote so far is 724 quid!! mum is 42, 22 years n/c bonus with my father as a named driver and he's been driving 20 years and is 40! whats goin on?! thought id try adrian flux but they have a call back thing so can't get a quote online.
anyone shed any light on this?

Hard to say really, its determind upon Postcode as well mate, whether the insurance see the area as a risk or not.

But that seems to be a hell of alot just to insure the Glanza .. which insurance company did you try? id deffiently recommend shopping around.

Try Bell Direct, Admiral, Elephant, there normally really good with imports.

in ireland this happens all the time..well in my case

i just ring them up again in a few minutes when youl get someone else on the phone and get a cheaper quote:)works every time!haha

but i can't get a check on the DVLA website neither. i think il get mum to phone up adrian flux and see what they say. rly weird! i knew they where hard work to insure but this is taking the biscuit!

give them another ring and that should sort it:)

yeh, mums gona phone adrian flux and see if they can give us a decent quote, bit strange that i can't get it up on the DVLA website. but it must be registerd to have a license plate!

i dont have a glanza, but still. im only 23 with 5 years no claims protected, all mods declared etc etc.

gt's are much cheaper to insure than glanzas for some reason.

also i wish my insurance was only £370 fully comp.

also try ringing around dude.

lol thats cool, i made sure i double checked before i raped u :p

gt's and glanzas are 2 different biscuits unfortunately mate. gt's are so much cheaper for sum reason i dont really no why?

yeh i know. i got a quote for my parents on a GT and it was 300 quid fully comp. 265 TPFT.
fuly comp is another 70 quid for a glanza! bit silly really!
