Will a side exit exhaust pass an nct in ireland

SIDE EXIT EXHAUST PASS AN NCT IN IRELAND AS im thinking of puting one on a glanza i picked up ?

If it's sufficiently secured then having a side exit exhaust shouldn't result in a failure. However it may fail if the exhaust is too loud. It shouldn't reach or exceed 99dB when measured 0.5 metres from the exhaust outlet.

Id say without silencers etc it'd be over the 99Db.
I've seen a few lads going in with fairly quiet exhasuts and failing becasue the test wasn't carried out right.
