Will change gearbox oil today on my EP82, what size is the drain nut?

Hello, planning on changing the oil of the manual gearbox on my EP82 today, problem is that none of my basic tools fit that huge drain nut , could you guys please tell me what size is it to go buy it at the autopart store? thanks!

15/16" is what i use

imperial will work but you run a big risk of rounding the head off the bung as its not a full length head like normal bolts.

you need a 24mm spanner to get it off.

24 for the drain and level. and 17 for the fill

Having done exactly what finx described (even with the correct size spanner!) I would highly recommend tracking down a 24mm six point socket. Far less likely to go badly wrong

correct 24mm for both fill and drain.

17mm on top is an easy way to fill if you dont have a pump to aces the filler hole on the side.
