Will I Lose Much Oil?

Well Ive been spending the past few weeks collecting parts etc to get my car ready for the summer as its been off the road for some time now with no MOT. Ive just recently given her a full engine service inc gearbox oil, after taking it for a test drive ive noticed my N/S wheel was full of grease and there was a big split in my inner CV boot :( now im goin to be getting my MOT done tommorow and while its there im also getting the CV boot replaced to save me messing about doin it in the rain ;) But my question is, when the drive shaft is removed from the gearbox will I loose loads of my fresh gearbox oil? as it wasnt cheap lol, if someone could let me know that would be great, cheers, starlybruiser :)

they can put a stretchy boot on which means they wont need to remove the whole shaft or else the can remove the shaft from the inner hub which means you wont loose your fresh oil

the shaft does not need to be removed from gearbox when changing a cv boot.
