Window wipers fuse keeps blowing

Hey guys, having a nightmare with my window wipers. The fuse keeps blowing, sometimes as soon as i replace it and turn the power on.

I have replaced the motor and even the stalk but the problem is still there. Nothing has been changed that could have made the problem start, they just stopped working one day.

It is also affecting my alarm. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

I have looked for any obvious loose wires etc but cant see any. I can get them working again by disconnectiong the battery leaving it for a while then reconnecting, but after a short drive it will blow again. This is when it screws the alarm up, and wont arm properly until i disconnect the battery and start all over again.

Thanks for any help in advance......

don't know what the root of the problem is but just use a bigger fuse, should sort it :drive:

DO not use a Bigger Fuse otherwise whats the point in having fuses there there that size (Amp)for a reason to protect the motors ........

But you motor could to be on its way out and pulling to much current aswell but as a bove check the earth points aswell

Cheers for the advice. Im pretty sure its not the motor as it was replaced but the problem persists.

fuse controls all wipers and washers so will check all these wires tomorrow and see what pops up.

Wouldnt use a bigger fuse or as one person i know suggested 'stick a nail in it' crazy mofo. lol

Thanks for the help again.
