Wiper Motor on way out?

My windshield wipers are literally crawling across the glass.

Is this an indication of the motor going bad?

my car did this the other week turned out to be the linkages seizing where they come threw the bulkhead

pull it all out, clean and lubricate and see what it is like then, if it makes no difference the motor is on its way out.

ether sized or on the way you hav a look at the wiped mechanism giv it a we clean and if its still doing it stick a new one in you can get a set for pennys so you can

How do you clean this?

you need to remove it from the car. get the scuttle trim off at the bottom of the window and you can see where its all held in. its a bit fiddly, but not too bad to remove
