Wiseco Piston Clearance

I have been speaking to my engine builder and he has said that on all wiseco pistons he has fitted previously, he allowed a bit more clearance than stated by wiseco due to there expansion.
Now I'm abit worried as I havent heard alot on here about anything like this and I wouldnt want the engine to suffer from excessive blowby once built.

In fact,when you go for wiseco specs there is a bit of piston slap.
They suggest to leave a piston to bore gap of 0.0035.
I believe that you could go a little tighter.

I phoned wiseco last week and they told me to go for 0.0030 for a faster running in or 0.0035 for normal conditions but my pistons where second hand so we went for the 0.0030 for mine as the engineer thought that would be better.

Thats a good decision. I am sure you will see lesser piston slap.
