How does it feel when you try an put it in gear??
Have you checked the cable's are all ok?
There is notink aroud gear box arm that would stop it going into gear?

I can push the gearstick left, but not up into first..car goes into all other gears, just drove to jap show n back, still doesn't go into first...doesn't seem to be anything In the way near the selector arms.. Also before I fitted the gearbox to my car I installed my Trd diff from my old box..all gears and diff work fine, no noises either...just no first gear...
