Was good meeting you buddy
Shame my day wasn't so successful, but then I wasn't expecting much. Pulled a 15.4 on the first run which involved a 1.3bar boost spike in 3rd gear followed by fuel cut and, as you know, a few flames out the exhaust :haha:. Next run was a 16.4 but something didn't feel right and had another 1.4bar boost spike in 4th just before the finish. The last run I turned the boost controller off, ran 0.6bar on the external gate alone, but something wasn't right, saw hardly any boost in 1st and 2nd gear and the engine had developed a misfire after the previous run.
Put a litre of water in it before I left, stopped my side of Oxford and put another litre of water in the radiator and drove all the way back with the heater on full blast. The misfire turned out to be a loose plug lead on No.1 cylinder. I'd already condemned the engine before I left the pod, so developed a new game on the way back down the M4, I've entitled it 'Burn the BMW', basically the aim is try to set fire to any BMW's that sit on your back bumper, found building boost gradually and then cracking the throttle open resulted in a 1.4bar boost spike and a fook off great flame out the exhaust. Seemed to make them back off anyway
The lad with the Glanza (Chris I think he said his name was, I'm terrible with names though) did rather well for a near stock setup.
