Xenon Lights for Glanza

I need some help with regards to Xenon lights. I want to get some for my Glanza but I haven't a clue which ones to get. I have seen kits that cost hundreds and bulbs for around 20 quid. Is it as simple as replacing the bulbs or do you have to get an expensive kit as well?

Any help would be much appreciated.

My fella got some really cheap ones for £55 and they broke so he bought another set for £75 and these are made really good!
I will get the website for you later

That would be great, thank you!

So I won't need some expensive kit then and I can just replace the old bulbs?

Ive got a set of HIDS in mine...they are okay but the main beam isnt HID....just good quality normal bulbs are most probably better lol!

Ahh I see now! I think I'm getting Xenon and HID mixed up!
I just wanted something to give me a bit better lighting so if those philips bulbs work good I might go for them.

I've said it numerous times but I'll say it again...stick with uprated bulbs because HIDS are illegal unless you fit auto headlamp adjusters, headlamp washers and HID specific reflectors. Otherwise the beam gets scattered everywhere so as well as being inefficient you blind other road users and possily fail the MOT if the beam pattern is wrong.

And £75 HID kits from china? Wouldn't put it anywhere near my car!

With HID's you need to fit ballasts at the same time not just replace the bulbs, so a bit of wiring is involved.

If you just want better lights and don't care about being able to say I have HID's etc then get these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PHILIPS-X-TRE...14&_trkparms=72:1301|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318

Thats what I have and they do the job nicely for a much better price and less hassle.;)

Ordering me a pair now.

Got HID's on the rolla, best mod but dont fancy putting them on the V.
