Celica GT-4 - 4WD an good power from what i've heard.

very true upgraded from my starlet to a gt4 and the difference is amazing to put it mildly. i have the GT4 ST205 WRC edition jap import. one of only 2500 made and there not sluggish with 255bhp as standard :D.
they are thirsty if your foots down though

Its like the MR2. People always complain about the backends with them, but if you know how to drive them, they are also great machines.

if thats the craic would say a rev3 turbo mr2 be a more rewarding prospect for tuning? it has the formentioned turbo. standard stats are scintilaiting and the pace is similar to your ep on the quater etc, so you would not be downsizing the speed,

I want to start a base on a more modern car thou hopefully. Its not just out right power I am going for, I am weighing up my options in regards to price, running costs, including tax, insurance, prices on tyres etc and also looks and reliability.

the STI (type R please ;)) is great fun thought. at least I will have owned one of the best car to slide out of a corner ;)
