Zener Diode?

I want to try the zener diode mod out to remove the fuel cut.

I already have an AEM wideband gauge so can make sure it doesn't run lean.

Has anybody tried a zener diode, and which one do you need for the starlet (I know the MR2 needs a 4.3Volt diode) ?

Cheers

I built my own duel cit defender. Used a pot aswell. There is a website for mr2 ones which works fine. U would need 4.1 for fuel cut on the starlet.

Got a zener diode now. I assume it goes on the "Sensor Assy, Turbo Pressure" next to the chassis number? And does anybody know which wire is which? I guess the brown is ground, but which of them is the 5V input, and which is the actual reading?

Cheers

OK, I put it on the "Sensor Assy, Turbo Pressure" next to the chassis number between the plain green wire (MAP reading) and the brown wire (Ground) and the car wouldnt start. I'm sure it was the right way round (and even if it wasn't, it should just do nothing).

Any ideas?
