wow! that cage looks savage and everything else. Great to see some of the parts. I think some of the braces etc should be listed with prices in their own thread as these would be very popular with members.

Its not the price of the cage itself which would be a problem, its actually making a valid jig for one.. were thinking of getting a rolling shell, as that way we could have alot more workable environment in our works :)

Will keep you updated in due course :)

well basically, we need a glanza to build it on.. :haha:

not to mention ud have to bolt it onto ur car which involves drilling into the chassis.. which is not something everybody would want to do :)

As a former fabricator by trade thats some of the best pipework ive seen in a long long time, just out of interest, who cuts your flanges out for the manis and downpipes and if possible can you pm me a price? Im getting bored of cutting mine out with a plasma cutter!

Those are some pretty excellent manifolds but I have serious doubts about that cage... bolt in cages are basically illegal here in NZ because they offer minimal roll-over protection. Press bent angles with so much crush would never pass certification for motorsport (or road) use. If you want a rollcage for safety reasons it really needs to be WELDED to the chassis and be adequately triangulated. If it's for cosmetic reasons or just basic chassis stiffening (a welded cage will be much better in this respect too) then go for it.

Sure not a problem, its a local engineer who cuts them for us.. as for priceing ill pm u later.. mild steel is pretty cheap, however stainless is very expensive...

Well that depends on if u would like it made from Chrome Ally Or if its made from normal Steel.. the weight varies alot between the two, one being lighter & the other slightly heavier than cusco's cage...

However there is a big jump in the price of the materials .. but dont worry all will be revealed in the near future ;)
