Chinese I believe, some of the big power mx5 guys have used them. Read one guy found a 5g difference in rods overall, not good.

The last set of Eagle rods I used had a difference of 4.6 grams between the lightest and heaviest rods before matching them.

I think he was surprised by the difference and hadn't planned on having to get them matched.

There is not much info on them but their range seems to be extensive for Euro cars. They do stroker kits and billet cranks as well, they state 4340 steel as most good rod manufacturers grade their products but its a bit vague as to what combination and amount of metals goes into 4340 to meet that specification. Its a Greek based company that has them all over facebook so i might PM a few of those lads on here to see what they know about them.

pec service is shit, the qaulity is a bit hit and miss, there ok when you get a good set,

i have ordered from pec 5 timess for rods,

1st time they had a break in and couldnt supply me for 4 weeks, after 4 weeks they apparently lost there shipment to spain, and not once did they apologise, offer discount or anything to soften the blow, after another 4 weeks i decided not to bother, and bought a set else where,

the 2nd time i ordered from them i ordered 2-3 sets of 5e forged rods, all were made massively incorrect and i mean they didnt even look like they were 5e rods, they apologised and thats it, luckily they had replacements but again no apology and no discount and i ended up losing money, lucky i had understanding customers.

3rd time all went well

4th time they had none in stock again and would be 4 weeks, no problem, after 4 weeks i chase them up and conveniently there suppliers business partner has ran off with all the stock and would be at least another 4 weeks, so told them not to bother again, and letting my customer down. and then it became a ball ache to get y money back off them as thwey refused to put it back on another credit card even though they took it upon themselves to take it off the credit card they store on there system from the last purchase and not ask my permission, as i was supposed to [pay by cash and the card they used i had cancelled in the meantime while i was waiting for the rods, was a massive ball ache,

will never use them again for anything other than pistons and head gaskets

on the note of ZRP rods, they seem pretty good, was looking into them before i sold the starlet, they are accredited to the iso9002 tuv standard aswell which means there qaulity control is shit hot and better than the likes of scat etc.

all OE manufactures manufacture there parts to this qaulity control standard, and by law all aftermarket spares need to be made to this standard aswell for the block exemption rule and customers dont lose warranty on there new cars,

i reckon they will be worth a punt

especially at this price http://www.forged-pistons.co.uk/webshop/zrp-h-beam-forged-connecting-rods/toyota/

thats well worth a go, the pec's are supposed to retail at stupid money and there shit, and the cost of the dollar against the £ and import charges means its not so great to import from america either.
