does anyone have the speedo gear part number for the c52/c56 gearbox?---starlet/glanza

i saw a part number 33481-12040...is this correct

Which ID number are we aiming for in the diagrams Andy?

(I'm truly crap with gearbox diagrams)

The speedo drive that turns the cable is 33403-19285.
The gear on the diff that turns the speedo drive is 33481-12040 non LSD and 33481-16050 with factory LSD.

i never knew that there was a different speedo gear for the lsd vs the non-lsd box

i was always of the opinion that people just used back the speedo gear in their box when they installed an aftermarket lsd (cusco, trd, quaife, etc) in the stock box.......OR is this 33481-16050 one for a factory equipped viscous lsd box??

Yep, that's for a factory LSD.

You would use 33481-12040 when installing an after market LSD into a non LSD box.
