are these standard?

Havnt got a pic but iv noticed on a GT that the clocks go all the way to 280KPH

I think they were found on the 1992 GT's

180kph =112mph
280kph = 175 mph

Maybe it is to retain some accuracy, as the speedo is very inaccurate at the top end - 175mph dials should give a 2-25mph cushion, that the car should never reach? Just a thought.

Nope, just means his hasn't been calibrated correct. Assuming of course he means speed cut, unless he means top speed, which makes 200kmh reasonable.

i cant understand how that speedo will ever be accurate as the normal clocks read right down to 180KPH and that reads 280KPH....?? how would the speedo know what your really doing....... I dont understand that at all..... :confused:

lol... but dave what happens if you convert the dials from your 180KPH to the 280KPH as the starlets have the speedo cable no sender...? so how will it re-adjust? or how will it work?
