Hi Guys.
Personally i dont like disclosing details of a sale on the whole of net, but if thats the way people like to make them heard then thats not a problem. So "threating" me on MSN to go on the forum does not effect me, becasue iv hardly done anything wrong.
Iv got nothing to hide.
Anyways....
The car was Pelvis's Old Car.
Problem Was - Spitting Out Oil from the Dump Valve. (So that means Either 1 or 2 of the Pistons + Turbo Would defo be a gonner)
I bought the car home and told my Local Garage (friend) to find the problem out. problem came to be Pistons + Turbo.
All of you are aware that i am breaking a Starlet GT. So i took out the Pistons + turbo from that car, and replaced them onto this "car".
Car came out of the garage, and i started driving it around just to run in the car, so everything IS fine, and if there was any faults , i would get them checked out. BUT the car was fine (apart from injector rail making noise which is a common prob).
OK when advertising the car i did advise that the "pistons" have been replaced.
So george tells me he is intrested in the car and want to buy it. We agree/negotiate a price & Location to meet.
Please NOTE - Location to MEET was 100 Miles from my HOUSE. Not because i didnt want him to come to me, but George asked if i could do that and i agreeed.
Anyways on the day of the sale, george said that this car looked familiar, and i advised him that it was Pelvis's old car, and iv changed the Pistons + Turbo.
George was also aware of the problem with the car (oil Spitting etc)
So to make sure it wasnt throwing oil out george put a DUMPVALVE on (which i negotiatated in the deal) and we took the car for a test drive, and NO SIGNS on any OIL LEAKS/SMOKE etc etc.
So CAR WAS SOLD AS SEEN, Car was In Running Condition, NO SMOKE, NO OIL SPITTING Etc Etc.
thats the story of the SALE.

To Solve the Problem
I "did" offer a COST PRICE on the PISTONS i could get hold for George , but guess he wasnt happy with it.

Now to answer the Q's on the forum
Do I have a receipt for the WORK?
No, reason being hes actually a friend of mine (not a well established garage, but an expert at his job)
